The historical atlas of Québec electoral maps contains a lot of data that makes it heavy to download. This data is necessary to ensure the quality of information displayed. You may require several minutes to load the data, especially when you connect for the first time. The presentation of the maps is optimized for OpenGL-compatible graphics (video) cards. Graphics cards that only support DirectX do not provide the same presentation quality.
The electoral atlas is the property of the Commission de la représentation électorale du Québec and the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec, who hold the intellectual property rights. As long as the source is acknowledged, and as long as no commercial or personal benefit is intended, anyone may reproduce (through any medium) or download the documents, data, compilations and other works of the Commission de la représentation électorale du Québec and the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec without authorization and at no charge. If any commercial or personal benefit is intended, an authorization must be obtained from the Commission de la représentation électorale du Québec or the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec.
